Most dry cleaners do not understand the complexity of re-pleating. It is a type of fold formed by doubling fabric back upon itself and securing it in place. It is most commonly used in clothing and upholstery in order to gather a wide piece of fabric to a narrower circumference. This skill is hard for many dry cleaners to do so most dry cleaners won’t offer this service.
