The Fabulous Fashion of the 2015 Grammy Awards

The fabulous fashion at the 2015 Grammy Awards did not disappoint; from Miley, to Madonna, “it couples” like Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, to Kim and Kanye West, the event truly was an affair to remember. E! News reported that Beyoncé wore, “more than $10 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds, including 80-carat Colombian emerald-and-diamond chandelier earrings and over 100-carats of emerald and diamond rings. She wasn’t the only celebrity to shine bright on the music industry’s biggest night, Taylor Swift , and Lady Gaga were all about the glitz too. Taylor wore a cool $1 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, including $350,000 black opal paraiba earrings and matching black opal rings. While, Lady Gaga, sported Lorraine Schwartz emeralds, which the singer wore in the form of 45-carat drop earrings and a sexy pendant necklace.”

Like the Academy Awards, The Grammys always end up being one of the most important fashion events of the season. The stars come to the Grammys trying to make headlines, set trends, and get people talking about whatever designer they’re wearing. It’s not all about the girls either; the men embraced fashion just as much as the women wearing couture suits like the one Jay Z wore. It was a dark navy Burberry English-woven wool and mohair tuxedo with black silk lapels that was the perfect complement to wife Beyoncé’s black Proenza Schouler gown. However, it was perhaps Rihanna’s pink Giambattista Valli gown that stole the entire show, and some critics at E! aren’t sure if that’s such a good thing, comparing the dress to a “pink cupcake.”

From crazy to curvy, actress Katharine McPhee’s curves took center stage in “a revealing pale-pink gown with metal panels in the front and cut-outs on the side. The daring yet feminine dress was tailored perfectly to her body, and the color accentuated her natural tones and highlights. Iggy Azalea also opted for a form-fitting gown with a blue Armani Privé dress with interesting cut-outs, and a deep plunging neckline,” Grammys. With designer dresses and suits that stunning, jewelry that remarkable, and performances that epic; it’s going to be hard to outdo an event like that one.
